Concrete Dock House with Floating Terrace Over Forest and Reservoir

Located in a natural setting among pine trees and sandstone formations, this contemporary house integrates into the irregular terrain with a strong sculptural architectural approach.

The project is defined by two main elements: a monolithic volume of black pigmented concrete housing the living spaces on a single floor, and a large wooden terrace acting as a dock, extending outward into the landscape and creating a unique spatial experience.

Both elements, elongated and proportionally aligned, intersect to generate a series of outdoor spaces that adapt to the terrain. The terrace begins at ground level, passes through the house and continues elevated above the treetops, creating a sense of suspension and openness toward the horizon.

The material palette reinforces its visual identity: dark concrete, steel structures and wood create a powerful contrast with the natural surroundings, resulting in a clean, contemporary and highly cinematic aesthetic.

The terrace structure, supported by inclined steel columns, enhances the sensation of lightness and elevation, turning the house into a distinctive architectural piece.
